Murphy's Law

Sunglasses, car, cell phone. 3 things that broke today. Probably the most costly of all the items I use on a day to day basis. Why? I'm not sure why. I guess it was just time for all the things to go wrong at the same time. Does it suck? Yeah. Am I gonna bitch about it? Well, not more than whatever I write on this blog. It is what it is and I've realized that from time to time, great things are gonna happen and when they do, they usually happen sequentially. Likewise, when things go wrong, they really go wrong. Life isn't always peachy, we all know that. So if we know that, why do people always complain and overuse the the "fml" phrase? People need to appreciate more of the important things. This is what I'm appreciating right now: I have a car, I have a future, I have good health (this is a biggie), I have great friends, and an awesome family! Bam! I feel better about all the crap that went wrong.

a new year

a new year is among us. it seems like every year we come up with resolutions that are very similar as the years past. nope. not this year. at least, not for me. this is the year where i will reflect during the summer. i will look back on all the resolutions ive accomplished and all the resolutions that are still in progress. this is the year where i completely forget all the negativity and focus on the positive outlook of my life. i will completely eliminate all toxicity and improve my productivity. this year is my year and im uber excited to get things rolling. are you ready?! this is gonna be fun.
